Malbone, preferably known as Melba was born and bred in a small village in Limpopo. She completed her matric in 2012 and furthered her studies at Tshwane University of Technology where she obtained a National Diploma in Legal Assistance. She started off her professional career working as a legal assistant and receptionist at a local law firm and has gained interest in pursuing her law career by enrolling to study towards LLB degree part-time with Unisa.

Melba joined the SSLR family in 2018 as a Legal Secretary in the Collection Department and then moved to the Residential Department. Since she’s been an SSLR family member, she has epitomised the firm’s values, mission, and vision by being proactive in all areas of her work. Through her eagerness to learn, Melba won the Culture Ambassador Award during August 2018 and also won the Nail-Breaker Award as the best Legal Secretary of the year during 2018.
Her spirituality is what grounds her and affirms her being and has not only pulled her through the life’s challenges but built her character. Her love for music comes to live when she dances, though she’s an introvert but also loves being around family and close friends. Her eagerness to succeed and be present for her dreams is what drives her.
